Hngggg. [Ok, maybe a bit longer then, after all, it was oh so wonderful being here. And if she says no, then he's going to listen. So Remy let it lie again with a sigh, trying to settling in again and even if he didn't get fully back to sleep, then at least dozing for awhile.
Or trying to at least. Between stomach and something else, yup, need to move.] Ugh, no, up. [Sorry Rogue, but lying in bed this long does take a toll, as would grabbing a drink before they had gone to bed. And while she is so lovely to cuddle up tight to, extra pressure against the bladder doesn't help. So Remy works himself to try and detangle from her arms and the bedding, trying to get most of it off before moving from the bed, and half tripping from the sheet that got wrapped around his foot before continuing to the bathroom.]
[Yes, good. Peace again to drift back to sleep. She sighed in content, smiling softly as she pulled him closer, perhaps squeezing a bit too hard.
And just as she started to slip back into sleep, suddenly there are long limbs and inconsiderate shifting that jostle her awake unceremoniously. The blankets pull her near clean off the bed and she can only manage a disgruntled noise as she yanked the blanket back.
[Well so was he, at least until he had to move. Her tug of the blanket back didn't help things, but Remy at least managed to keep his balance. A good thing since he was still tired enough that he may not be able to do something aerobatic to save himself from the floor. Not everyone could fly, Rogue.
The other problem with him being up and having vanished long enough in the bathroom to finish what was needed, was three certain boys becoming aware of Remy being awake. And were more vocal about it than Rogue was. It's how they both were gifted with a chorus of three cat calls as they started bounding their way upstairs to their room. Oliver stayed to greet Remy as he came back out of the bathroom and the other two went to find Rogue on the bed, giving her a sniff before settling down in the space Remy had been lying just before.]
[There's nothing like a herd of hungry cats to crush the last shreds of sleep from your body, regardless of how tired one remained. Their path to Remy's residual warmth involved stepping across her, or more accurately, bounding across her, pulling displeased grunts from Rogue.
At least Remy didn't hit the floor in a heap, that would have made her feel a bit guilty. A bit.
She's still going to stubbornly try and sleep, burying her face in the pillow with another noise of compliant. Never mind that one of the boys had vaulted off her own bladder and now she too needs to hit the restroom.
[The issue with the cats talking? It also tends to start Remy off too, him looking down to Oliver waiting and calling for him,] Quoi? [Before moving to scoop him up in his arm and taking them both to the bed.] Stop whinin' 'lready.
[Then seeing his space partly taken up.] Really guys? [Giving them a bit of a poke to get them to move so Remy could lay back on his side of the bed again.]
You started this chain of events. [Well now she's good and awake from the whole series of events, Rogue grumbled just as Remy cleared the boys away to lay himself back down, throwing her own covers back and atop him so she could make her own way to the bathroom.
Without pants, she leaned forward to scoop up one of the escapees, and to give Remy quite a view before she disappeared into the bathroom. Soon enough, he can hear the shower running and maybe even the sounds of her clothes hitting the floor with the door cracked. If she's awake, she might as well get clean.]
[Her comment about him causing this goes ignored, not up to arguing that. What does get a whine of a reply though is her leaving him just as he had gotten settled in bed again, a cry as she moved and a hand going out to try and catch her before she got too far away, sadly missing her and instead having to now put up with the cats getting excited by having the blanket thrown over them and starting to jump around under it to either find a way out, or to swat at imaginary prey that the folds of the blanket created.]
Chereeeee. [Though, that's a rather lovely view she just offered him as Remy flopped over to watch her leave. Hated to see her go, loved to see her leave.
He's a lucky man.
Remy's attention is momentarily distracted as one of the cats was able to resurface, bumping it's face against his before he offered it a scratch to the top of it's head, his gaze focused on that partly open door and the sounds he could hear within. You know... would be a real shame to give up this option, and he would hate her to feel lonely in there. Hmmmm.
Sorry boys, much more important things right now. Remy carefully shifted himself out of the bed so not to disturb the cats too much before making his way towards the bathroom door, opening it more before speaking.] Needing a hand, or two, in there?
